INFECTION CONTROL

Non-surgical cosmetic procedures involve contact and skin penetration treatments, in close proximity to faces. Therefore there is a high risk of exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens including bacterial, fungal and viral illnesses.

Suppelle® has a "HLTINF005 - Maintain Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration Treatments" certificate, as required by the Qld Public Health Act and Local Council to permit higher risk personal appearance services.

Visiting Suppelle® requires fever screening, infection control measures, social distancing restrictions, and staging of procedures to keep clients, Suppelle® staff and our community safe from transmission of illnesses and infections.

Suppelle® staff (ie. Cosmetic Registered Nurse and Medical Practitioners) are vaccinated with annual flu and COVID boosters; use PPE, antiseptic skin cleansers, aseptic techniques, and sterile disposable equipment for all treatment procedures; and disinfectant cleaning measures.

Please do not attend the clinic if you are not 100% well. You may call Suppelle® prior to your appointment if you are unsure or need to rebook.

SHOULD I ATTEND MY APPOINTMENT?

As per standard policy: You must be 100% well for ALL treatments.

* Please note: Non-surgical cosmetic treatments will not be done within 2 weeks before/after any vaccination, including flu, tetanus and travel vaccines etc. This is because of potential antibody formation, hypersensitivity, and/or inflammatory reactions. *

If you can confidently answer No to all questions you may attend your appointment. If you answer Yes to any questions or are unsure, please call Suppelle® to discuss the issue before attending your appointment.
